En el estado de Chihuahua \u2014y por supuesto en Ju\u00e1rez\u2014 se preparan, de forma tradicional, con <strong data-start=\"762\" data-end=\"792\">tortilla de harina (trigo)<\/strong> caliente como base; encima se \u201cmontan\u201d <strong data-start=\"832\" data-end=\"853\">frijoles refritos<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"855\" data-end=\"874\">queso Chihuahua<\/strong> (tambi\u00e9n llamado asadero o menonita por su origen en las comunidades menonitas) y un <strong data-start=\"960\" data-end=\"969\">guiso<\/strong> al gusto. Lo esencial es la cama de frijoles y queso que se funde y abraza la carne o el relleno elegido. Con el tiempo, el formato se populariz\u00f3 y hoy es <strong data-start=\"2722\" data-end=\"2748\">costumbre desayunarlos<\/strong> en todo el estado, particularmente en Ju\u00e1rez. La cercan\u00eda con el burrito es hist\u00f3rica, pero aqu\u00ed el <strong data-start=\"2849\" data-end=\"2868\">queso Chihuahua<\/strong> \u2014de fundido perfecto y sabor mantequilloso\u2014 y la base de frijoles son protagonistas.
