En Chihuahua y estados vecinos se le conoce como \u201cqueso menonita\u201d; en el resto del pa\u00eds, \u201cqueso Chihuahua\u201d. Con el tiempo, su elaboraci\u00f3n dej\u00f3 de ser exclusiva de esas comunidades y pas\u00f3 tambi\u00e9n a productores no menonitas, manteniendo el arraigo regional. Por eso en Ju\u00e1rez y todo el estado lo encuentras en mercados, cremer\u00edas y menuder\u00edas con gran rotaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-3\"><p>En la regi\u00f3n centro-occidental de Chihuahua \u2014especialmente en el municipio de Cuauht\u00e9moc\u2014 la producci\u00f3n evolucion\u00f3 de lo artesanal a lo industrial; en el noroeste persisten queser\u00edas peque\u00f1as con lotes reducidos.
